Description
This is a digital art work of a photo I took in my hometown. I had wanted to get some shots of the pretty fall foliage along the railroad tracks. I had hardly ever seen a train go by here. I had set up my tripod near the tracks and was getting set to take my first shot when I suddenly felt this slight rumbling. I looked up to see a train come barreling around the corner. I quickly grabbed my tripod and hurried away from the tracks and managed to snap this shot while awkwardly trying to use my camera with the tripod attached. I was so wishing I had known it was coming so I could have been set up to the side and been ready to take a shot of the train. I just never dreamed an actual train was coming. I learned my lesson that day about being very careful anytime I am near train tracks!

nice job turning into a painting. Glad you didn't get rundown yada take a run up to North Conway in the autumn head up north to faybans where the train turns around and you can get the train running through the fall foliage at different points.

Thanks, Jeff! Sounds like a great idea! I've been wanting to get up there in winter and get the train in the snow but never made it.
