Artist's Description
In my travels Friday I came across this amazingly long covered bridge! It is the Bath-Haverhill Bridge and it is the oldest authenticated covered bridge in New Hampshire. It is the first and only bridge to ever be built at this site. The bridge sustained damage from ice in 1980 and someone attempted to burn the bridge, unsuccessfully, on the night of September 11, 1983. It was built in 1829.
