While out kayaking I visited with a loon family on Townhouse Pond in Milton, NH. Here the daddy loon is showing me his stuff. He is so handsome! Every year I follow the family and watch their babies grow over the summer.

Absolutely LOVELY!!!! Without a boat of some kind I do not think I could get a really great one! I have tried!!

Thanks Gordon. I love my kayak for getting out close to them. Occasionally they do come close enough to shore to get a good shot. Either way it takes a lot of patience but I love just hanging out and watching them.
